One may ask you why would you ever want a portrait of yourself. No you aren’t self centered, or self obsessed. In reality it’s the exact opposite.

As a mother of small kids you sacrifice your body, your time, your mental space, your sleep, the money to get your hair done or the makeup that once was a staple. As a mother, your clothes go from being fashionable to practical which isn’t always the most flattering and usually comes adorned with the last meal’s leftovers.

As a mother you often become a shell of the old you. The once fiery woman’s flame is no longer vibrant, it’s now simmering. Don’t get me wrong I think I speak for the majority of moms in saying none of us would trade any of the above for our children. But let me tell you, having Arabella Blue Portraits photograph ignites those simmering embers!I feel beyond blessed to have experienced a portrait session with her! Her photos were the illustrations to the next chapter of my life, the chapter where I am no longer just a mom, a wife, a businesswoman. Her photographs are freeing and honestly it’s quite hard to even put into words. I will tel you this, I wish that every woman would do this for herself!
